About Us

About Pathway of Renewal
Pathway of Renewal exists because we were tired of seeing good work diluted.
Too many spaces teach complementary therapies or spirituality in ways that are either overly clinical and disconnected, or deeply spiritual but lacking grounding, ethics, and responsibility. This work grew out of a need for something more honest, more integrated, and more real.
Pathway of Renewal is held by Dan and Kizzy, working at the intersection of complementary therapy, spiritual practice, and magic — without pretending those worlds are separate, and without losing sight of consequence or care.
How we work
We don’t teach belief systems.
We teach practice.
Our courses meet and exceed recognised core curricula where applicable, but they don’t stop there. Alongside technical skill, we teach discernment, ethical responsibility, and how to work safely — with yourself, with others, and with what arises through spiritual and energetic practice.
This is work designed to be lived, not memorised.
How learning happens here
Both of us are autistic and have ADHD. Because of this, our teaching is not school-like.
Classes are conversational, responsive, and rooted in discussion and practical application. We learn through talking things through, questioning, reflecting, and actually doing the work — together.
You won’t be spoon-fed information. You will be expected to engage, think, and apply what you’re learning in real ways.
If you’re looking for passive learning or box-ticking, this likely won’t be a good fit.
Boundaries and values
We work from a place of respect, and we expect the same in return.
This is not a space for:
-
bigotry or discrimination
-
spiritual superiority or ego-led behaviour
-
manipulation or coercion
-
practices that override another person’s free will
If these patterns arise, we will pause or refuse work until they are addressed. This protects both the integrity of the work and the safety of the people involved.
Why work with us
People choose Pathway of Renewal because they want depth without pretence.
You can expect:
-
experienced practitioners holding the work
-
space for real questions and complexity
-
practical tools that integrate into daily life
-
ethical frameworks that support safe practice
-
learning through conversation and application
This work suits people who are willing to engage actively, take responsibility for their learning, and approach spirituality and healing with honesty rather than performance.
Why this exists
We don’t believe spirituality, healing, or magic should be vague, inflated, or disconnected from real-world impact.
Pathway of Renewal exists to offer clear, grounded teaching for people who want to do this work properly — with care for themselves, for others, and for what they engage with.
Who we are
Kizzy
Kizzy is an ordained interfaith minister, Mage, and spiritual practitioner with over 25 years of experience in occult and magical practice. Her background includes shadow work, hoodoo and root work, divination, land-based practices, clairvoyant work, and ethical spellcraft.
She works in a direct, grounded way, meeting people where they actually are rather than where they think they should be. Her focus is on helping people develop stable, responsible magical practice that can exist alongside everyday life — not as an escape from it.
Dan
Dan is an ordained interfaith minister, Mage, and complementary therapist with around 25 years of magical practice and 18 years of clinical experience. His work bridges spiritual practice and hands-on therapeutic care, with a strong emphasis on grounding, integration, and long-term stability.
His approach is calm, practical, and structured, supporting people to develop clarity, responsibility, and embodied understanding rather than chasing peak experiences.
